CO2 Flooding/Foam/Halon System
Carbon dioxide or CO2 is a colorless, odorless, electrically non-conductive gas that is highly efficient as a fire suppression agent. Fike Carbon Dioxide fire protection systems use intelligent, reliable and fast-acting control panels to quickly sense a fire before it can cause damage to property.
The carbon dioxide is also very cold as it comes out of the extinguisher, so it cools the fuel as well. CO2s may be ineffective at extinguishing Class A fires because they may not be able to displace enough oxygen to successfully put the fire out.
